Host
My name is Julia and in 2021, inspired by a close friendship, I founded our bed and breakfast in the historic coach house. Originally I dreamed of having my own café, but this wish developed into a charming bed and breakfast that brought new life to the guest house that had been empty for many years. My goal was to bring this beautiful historic house back to life and make it a meeting place for international guests. With passion, I moved back to my hometown from my beloved Hamburg to make this dream come true. With a lot of love, a place was created that enriches Baden-Baden.
I offer our guests a special service that is high-quality, uncomplicated and personal. The family atmosphere ensures that every guest feels at home with us.
I bring with me extensive experience from the upscale hotel and catering industry, which I gained in Hamburg, Munich and abroad. My childhood in Canada and my work in private aviation have shaped me and all of these experiences flow into what I do today.
I have always loved baking and cooking, with a particular preference for plant-based food. That's why our Bed & Breakfast is vegetarian.
Theo, the house dog, is playful, cheeky and alert and ensures
additional joy for our guests.
We will be happy to help you with table reservations, restaurant recommendations and excursion planning to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
We look forward to welcoming you to our Bed & Breakfast in the Coach House and providing you with an unforgettable stay.

The area around the Green Gold at Leisberg
Close to nature and close to the city at the same time
It is worth walking into the city from our location, a stroll past majestic
Giant sequoia trees, growing into the sky. They point the way through the orchard, which evokes a feeling of paradise when the apple and cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
You can let your gaze wander to the silhouette of Baden's local mountains, Merkur and Leisberg, to the vineyards on the Schafsberg and then to the bizarre rock formations of the Battert, all the way to the Old Castle. A place with a panoramic view, a paradise for mountaineers of all levels of difficulty.
Of course, it is more comfortable to stay down in the valley and stroll along the Lichtentaler Allee,
accompanied by the clear waters of the Oos and past magnificent villas and museums, all the way to the theater. At the end of this cultural mile, the Kurhaus, Casino and Belle Epoque await you - in all their glory.
Baden-Baden is a world cultural heritage site and a cultural city. And rightly so, because where else can you find something like this: a place where spa treatments and culture made history and where the Romans already valued the healing power of the warm springs. So it is no wonder that people from all over the world come to the enchanting valley of the Oos, including to us, to the “Green Gold” and say with delight as soon as they arrive
“beautiful, it`s so beautiful” - and quite a few come back.
Experience the best of Baden-Baden and the surrounding area
Relaxation and wellness
“Sanus per aquam - healthy through water” - Baden-Baden has been known for its healing thermal springs for centuries. The Romans discovered the power of water 2000 years ago and built the city's first bathing facilities. Today you can experience this tradition in the historic spa district and bathe like the Romans did. The Friedrichsbad, a landmark in the Renaissance style, has been inviting people to relax and unwind for body, soul and spirit for 145 years. Baden-Baden also offers a large sauna area with the Caracalla - perfect for regaining energy after a hike.
Nature and hiking
Surrounded by the nature of the Black Forest, Baden-Baden offers numerous excursion and hiking destinations. Discover the Old Castle and the impressive Battertfelsen or enjoy the circular hike on the Panoramaweg - along which the Merkur leads through the city to the Geroldsauer Mühle, offering breathtaking views of the city and nature.
Culture and city life
Baden-Baden is a center of culture. The Festspielhaus, one of the largest opera and concert halls in Europe, attracts international artists and music lovers. You can experience fascinating exhibitions in the city's renowned museums, such as the Frieder Burda Museum, which shows world-class contemporary art, and the State Art Gallery. Annual events such as the SWR New Pop Festival and the traditional horse races in Iffezheim attract visitors from all over the world. The city also offers first-class restaurants and an elegant shopping mile - a perfect mix of culture and enjoyment.
